Who we are

Chairlift is a product of Sphere. The controller responsible for personal data collected on this site is Sphere Partners, LLC, together with its affiliates (“Sphere”, “we”).

Questions about this notice or your data: info@sphereinc.com. Sphere’s company-wide privacy notice is at sphereinc.com/privacy; this notice applies it to this site.

This notice is about the marketing site only. Content and data that organizations load into Chairlift itself are handled under their agreement with Sphere; the Trust page describes how the product treats them.

What we collect

When you ask for a demo, the form sends:

  • your full name, work email and organization;
  • the industry you choose, your role if you add one, and any message you write;
  • where your visit started: the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), the site that referred you, and the first page you opened.

When you load a page, your browser sends our server your IP address and browser details, as with any website, so that it can answer. The site itself does not keep a log of these requests.

On pages that show the demo form or the booking calendar, the form or calendar is loaded from Sphere’s own CRM. Loading such a page sends your IP address and browser type (user agent) to the CRM. If the form or calendar shows a bot check, that check is run by Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare receives the technical details your browser sends to it. While you fill in the form, the CRM’s script saves what you have typed so far in your browser for up to 24 hours (see the Cookie notice).

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view, the demo steps you take (clicking a Book a demo button, starting the form, reaching the thank-you page), which tabs you open on a page, your device and browser type and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

We do not ask for special categories of data, and we ask you not to include any in the message field.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use service providers who process data for us, under contract and on our instructions:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosts the site;
  • Sphere’s own CRM: serves the demo form and booking calendar and receives your IP address and browser type when such a page loads;
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile): a bot check that the form or calendar may show;
  • Google (Google Analytics 4): site analytics, only with your consent.

Demo requests, the call time you book and our follow-up are kept in Sphere’s own CRM, which Sphere builds and runs itself.

Sphere group companies may see your request when they help run the demo. We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, with the same protections continuing.

International transfers

Sphere and its providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Sphere takes reasonable steps designed to ensure that personal information transferred internationally remains protected.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct it, or delete it;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it, including for follow-up sales emails;
  • give it to you in a portable format;
  • withdraw a consent you gave, without affecting what happened before.

Write to info@sphereinc.com. We’ll answer within one month, or sooner where the law says so, and we may need to check who you are first. If you’re in the UK or the EEA you can also complain to your data protection authority. US residents can use the same address for requests under state privacy laws; we won’t treat you differently for making one.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, and access to demo requests is limited to the people who need it to follow up. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security, but we will tell you and the authorities about a breach when the law requires.

Children

This site is for professionals evaluating software for their organization. It is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We’ll post any change to this notice on this page with a new date, and tell you directly if a change materially affects data you have already given us. Contact: Sphere Partners, LLC, by email at info@sphereinc.com.
