Secure AI for member content.
Each person gets only what they’re entitled to.

What the product enforces, shown as the product shows it, and plain answers to the questions security reviews ask.

What the product enforces

Each of these is working in the demos today, shown here as the product shows it.

  • Tiers apply before the answer

A person’s search only touches documents their grants open. Locked ones are never searched for them.

  • Cited, not invented

Every claim points to a document and page.

  • It says when it can’t answer

No limits, doses or values made up.

  • Nothing written without a person

Actions run a dry run, then wait for a named approver.

  • Paywall intact in members’ AI tools

MCP calls run as the token’s owner, with their grants.

  • Every MCP call audited

Who asked, when, and what came back.

  • Releases wait for their tests

Each release runs its test questions for every tier. A newly added test can hold it, and the current release stays live.

Your data, your providers

Where it runs, which models write the answers, how members sign in and how long it takes to launch.

  • Training on your content

“Is our content used to train models?”

The client selects their own providers, for example an enterprise contract with Claude, OpenAI or others: enterprise accounts allow this option. And local models, of course, by default do not train anything outside.

    • Claude
    • OpenAI
    • Others
    • Local models
  • Hosting and data residency

    “Where can Chairlift be hosted?”

We are provider-agnostic and can deploy anywhere.

  • Separation between customers

“Is our library kept apart from other organizations’?”

It’s hosted in the client’s VPC or on their own server. No shared data between clients.

  • Single sign-on

“Do you support single sign-on with all identity providers?”

    Yes, all.

  • AMS integrations

“Which AMS integrations can you support: iMIS, Nimble, Fonteva, Personify, Higher Logic?”

    We can support all.

    • iMIS
    • Nimble
    • Fonteva
    • Personify
    • Higher Logic
  • Model providers

“Which model providers can we use?”

    All, including local.

  • Subprocessors

    “Who are your subprocessors?”

Analytics partners only, at this point.

  • Audit log export and GDPR

“Can we export audit logs, and do you support GDPR?”

Yes, full GDPR support as well.

  • Time to launch

“How long from contract to members using it?”

It can be very fast: depending on setup, from 1 week to 3 months if it’s complex.

Accessibility of this site

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Every control works from the keyboard, the FAQ uses native disclosures, motion stops when your system asks for reduced motion, and text keeps AA contrast. If something gets in your way, tell us when you book a call.

Examples are built on public documents; access tiers are simulated. People and companies in the examples are fictional.

Questions

Can members see documents outside their tier?

No. Chairlift only searches the documents a person’s grants open, so locked documents never reach their answers. They see an access note instead.

Does Chairlift make up answers?

Every claim cites a document and page. When the content a person can access doesn’t cover the question, Chairlift says so and logs the gap for your content team.

Can Chairlift write to our systems on its own?

No. Requests become drafted actions with a dry run, and nothing is written until a named approver says yes.

Do tier rules hold inside members’ own AI tools?

Yes. MCP calls run as the token’s owner, with their grants, and each call is recorded in an audit log.
