About these terms

This site is operated by Sphere Partners, LLC (“Sphere”, “we”). By using the site you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

The examples on this site

Questions, answers, citations, members and tiers on this site are examples. They are built on public documents (for instance from OSHA, CSB, EPA, FEMA, FHWA, FAA, CDC, AHRQ, IRS and FFIEC), and the access tiers are simulated. They show how Chairlift behaves; they are not complete or current statements of any rule, standard or guideline.

Nothing on this site is safety, engineering, medical, tax, legal or other professional advice. Don’t rely on an example to make a decision; consult the source document and a qualified professional.

Naming a public body or document does not mean that body endorses Chairlift or Sphere.

Demo requests and the product

A demo request is an enquiry. It does not create a contract or an obligation for you or for us. Access to Chairlift, its features, pricing and service levels are set out only in a signed agreement with Sphere.

Product features described on this site may change. Where a page marks something as still to be confirmed, it is not a commitment.

Content and trademarks

The site’s text, design, graphics and code belong to Sphere or its licensors. You may view and share pages for your own evaluation of Chairlift, and link to them. Please don’t copy, adapt or republish the site, or use it to train or build a competing product, without our written permission.

Public documents and images shown in the examples belong to their publishers and are used to illustrate the product. All trademarks, service marks, logos and trade names on this site, including “Chairlift” and “Chairlift by Sphere”, are the property of Sphere or their respective owners. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, write to info@sphereinc.com.

Acceptable use

When you use the site, please don’t:

  • send false details, or someone else’s details, through the demo form;
  • probe, scan or test the site’s security, or try to get around its limits;
  • overload the site, or collect its content with automated tools beyond what robots.txt allows;
  • use the site to break the law or anyone’s rights.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, Sphere is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Privacy and cookies

The privacy notice explains what we do with details you send, and the cookie notice explains what the site stores in your browser.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its date, applies from when it is posted.
